General Job Description
The position requires performing various ongoing tasks, as well as special projects in the following areas: Sales Support, Customer Service, Trade Show Support, New Product Development, and others, as required. Key duties include: create professional sales presentations; create and maintain sales follow-up databases; create graphs and charts using sales data as well as geographic and demographic information; handle consumer, customer and broker inquiries and requests; process Purchase Orders; coordinate annual Trade Shows; and help proofread and edit new product labels and sales support materials.
Sales Support
Prepare materials necessary for customer meetings and trade shows, including, but not limited to:
Identify key decision-makers and buying windows at target accounts. Initiate and coordinate follow-up correspondence as required by Sales Department. Communicate with and support broker network regarding material and information requests, sales follow-up, etc. Maintain sample room and process all sample requests and mail outs.
Customer Service

Process purchase orders from customers

Handle incoming calls from customers and consumers

Read and respond to incoming consumer correspondence

Process all incoming MSDS requests

Maintain account files
Trade Shows
- Complete registration packets and handle payment
- Provide list of participants and dates attending
- Coordinate pre-show mailouts and post-show follow up
- Prepare all products and sales materials necessary
- Coordinate travel, lodging, meetings, entertainment, etc.
Minimum Job Requirements
Three years experience in position requiring high level of organizational skills, computer proficiency, and direct customer contact preferred.
- Demonstrated mastery of MS Office, Email, and Internet.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
